Jeremy Guthrie will get a good look at another NL West team he will be facing quite a bit this season, the San Diego Padres. No word yet if Street is slated to pitch for the Padres. The Rockies line-up is replete with potential opening day starters with one exception: Rosario. Blake, who has struggled so far, is also “on the bubble” in many fans minds.
Rockies V Padres
2:05 MST
CF Dexter Fowler
2B Marco Scutaro
LF Carlos Gonzalez
SS Troy Tulowitzki
1B Todd Helton
RF Michael Cuddyer
3B Casey Blake
C Wilin Rosario
RHP Jeremy Guthrie

Looks like the opening day line-up.
I hope Blake can get a hit today. He needs one. If not, maybe Pacheco, Wood, or Arenado can loan him a few of theirs………..

Esmil Rogers with a couple of strike-outs…don’t care what anyone says, i really like the kid and think he has some raw talent…if he can get it under control and not give up that one inning he is famous for he will be legit…i’d rather have his arm in the line-up if he does get it figured out, but don’t see that happening…
Esmil should be a one inning relief pitcher not a starter
I think he’s gone one way or the other.A ton of chances and his last outing sucked!
Esmil’s stats seem awfully close to one of my least favorite Rockies, Franklin Morales, but I don’t dislike Esmil at all. I think he’d make a good bullpen arm. 7th inning type guy.
I liked what I saw (heard..listened to game) from Gutherie..Tagged early by Maybin and settled right into a sweet outing..
