You can’t pitch any worse than that, it’s just that simple…We did not pitch well from the first inning on. We should have won this ballgame. It’s that simple…We should have done it in a much better fashion without all the drama and theatrics that went on. You have to understand that [poor pitching] is what’s holding us up.
I guarantee that we spent most of the time on the field…And to keep answering the bell offensively in the manner in which we did, you have to give them all the credit in the world. We simply have to pitch better.

It’s the worst…It’s difficult, but we need to deal with it. It’s hard when you are out there waiting for the pitcher to get three outs, and then they don’t and the manager has to come out and get another pitcher. It’s tough, but there is nothing we can do about it. We can’t control what goes on on the mound…We can only go out and keep playing. But at the same time, we have had games on the road where we got good pitching but we didn’t hit. We win as a team and we lose as a team.
It’s a team here…When we were on the road, we didn’t hit too much and the pitchers pitched well. Now we come back here, and we hit a little and the pitchers have struggled…But we are all on the same team, and you can’t divide us up. But you definitely get frustrated sometimes. That’s the nature of the game. It hasn’t clicked yet…When we start hitting on both cylinders, with offense and defense, that’s when teams usually go on runs. I think we are going to do that at some point and time. Right now, we are just trying to tread water and not dig ourselves too big a hole…That was an ugly ballgame, all the way around, any way you look at it…Bad baseball.

Sorry for the lack of a post-game write-up…couldn’t finish watching until later and had to go back to work until about 1:00 AM…when i got home i was too depressed about it to type up anything…
Didn’t feel like rehashing the game, so I thought I’d post what the players/JT thought…makes for an interesting view of the horrible collapse…
You know it is bad when Alex White is up to bat with bases loaded and no outs…told my wife that he wouldn’t swing at a single pitch…she said why and I said that I’m pretty sure he was told not to because it would lead to a double play…thing is, if they were sure it would lead to a double play, in my mind, why not bunt – you get the runners going on a suicide squeeze and have him bunt…
oh well, crappy crappy end of a game…

Are you “beeing” serious? They showed it during the game and its been all over the media. They sucked a majority of them up with a bee friendly vacuum. They interviewed the guy on the radio today and he dropped them off at some bee conservatory or something.
Wish they’d turned the vacuum on our “killer B’s: Brothers, Belisle and Betancourt”…
Can any of the bees pitch? Get 5 of them and we may have our rotation.
