Jeremy Guthrie will take the mound in this afternoon’s rubber match against the Tigers. His last few outings were enough to get most any player benched, DFA’s or even traded, but Tracy has decided to give him another chance. Today, being an away game, will be a good indication if the issue is Coors field based or if Guts just can’t deliver the ball effectively to the other teams batters.

This one is on me. I watched the 9th and 10th of game 1 – and the Rockies scored 8 runs in one inning. I skipped games 2-3 and the offense completely disappears.
