According to reports, the Rockies are trading surplus catcher Ramon Hernandez to LA for Aaron Harang.  Harang, a starting pitcher by trade, has been relegated to bullpen status thanks to the surplus of starting pitching in LA. The Rockies DFA'd Harang right after the trade was announced.  The whole trade was a cost-cutting move by the team and there appears to be some interest in Harang by several teams.

The Colorado Rockies announced today that the club has acquired infielder Charlie Culberson from the San Francisco Giants in exchange for infielder Marco Scutaro and cash considerations.
